The European Commission will make concessions to Hungary in allocating EUR 50 billion in aid to Ukraine. "Financial Times" newspaper noted it. This is done so that Hungary gives up its veto of the military aid package to Ukraine. The European Commission is ready to give Viktor Orbán the right to stop the funding deal midway through 2025.
As part of a possible concession, Hungary can initiate a review of the agreement's terms to assess how much Ukraine needs funding and whether it has met EU requirements for funds.
