Al-Kahira Al-Ihbariya" TV channel reported that Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas received US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken at his residence in Ramallah on the West Bank of the Jordan River.
The negotiations are focused on the situation in the Gaza Strip and the escalation of the situation in the West Bank of Jordan. The US Secretary of State arrived in Ramallah after a series of meetings with the Israeli leadership.
Blinken is on another tour of several countries in the Middle East, trying to find options acceptable to the parties to the conflict in Gaza.
