Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that while Israel does not seek war against Hezbollah, if necessary, his country could repeat its military operations in Gaza in Beirut. Gallant said the priority was not to go to war with Hezbollah but that "eighty thousand people should be able to return safely to their homes."
Gallant also stated that if an appropriate agreement is not reached, Israel will not give up military operations. "We are ready to sacrifice."
