The White House discussed aid to Ukraine with arms manufacturers

On January 8, the National Security Council of the US President's Office met with the heads of venture, technology, and defense companies. Issues of effective use of innovative American equipment in supporting Ukraine were discussed. Reuters, citing its sources, reported that the meeting lasted almost 5 hours.

Another Biden administration official said the meeting was called by White House National Security Council Chairman Jake Sullivan to focus on overcoming vital technological challenges holding back the Ukrainians' progress and initiative on the battlefield.
