Erdogan and Zelensky discussed regional issues

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. They discussed global and regional issues, including the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

In the conversation with Zelensky, Erdogan stated that he is making significant efforts to stop the bloodshed and establish peace in Ukraine and the Palestinian lands.

According to Erdogan, Turkey is ready to assume the role of a mediator and conduct peaceful negotiations to ensure peace in Ukraine. The head of Turkey emphasized the importance of resuming the grain corridor and noted that he continues diplomatic contacts for this purpose.

Erdogan said a cease-fire should be reached as soon as possible, and the doors to peace in Ukraine will open.
