Israeli media reports that on January 4, the high-ranking commander of Hezbollah, Hussein Yazbek, was killed as a result of the attack of the Israeli Air Force on South Lebanon.
Besides him, 3 more militants of the organization were destroyed.
The military operation came shortly after a January 3 speech by Hezbollah leader Nasrallah, in which he threatened Israel with "terrible revenge" for the January 2 killing of senior Hamas official Saleh Al-Aruri in Beirut.
