More than 100 buildings were damaged, and fires started in Japan from about 60 earthquakes

The Kyodo Agency reported that about 60 earthquakes occurred in Japan on January 1. As a result of the earthquakes, buildings were damaged, large fires broke out, and 2 victims are known.

After several strong earthquakes in Ishikawa Prefecture damaged more than 100 buildings, an intense fire broke out in Wajima. Several fire brigades are involved in extinguishing the fire.
