The newly elected president of Argentina, Javier Millay, has officially rejected the invitation to join the BRICS union (Brasilia, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) in letters addressed to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

According to the TN TV channel source, in his letter, the President of Argentina wrote that he does not consider the country's participation in BRICS appropriate.
