European leaders are increasingly concerned about the deadlocked war in Ukraine and the allies' struggle to outpace the production of new Russian weapons. "Russia can continue this war for many years," Finnish Defense Minister Antti Hakanen said during his visit to Washington.
"Many Western countries thought it was a short-term problem. But now, I think almost everyone in the US and NATO countries knows that this is the end of the last 30 years since the collapse of the Soviet Union. Now we are entering a new cold war," Hakanen added.
