The Biden administration is working on a new package to seize more than $300 billion worth of Russian central bank assets and direct them to support Ukraine. In that direction, the Biden administration has started urgent negotiations with the G7 countries and Western allies.
US law prohibits using these measures without a special resolution of Congress and legal regulations.
