Poland's newly appointed Minister of Culture, Bartolomei Sienkiewicz, fired the heads of the state television and radio company and the Polish Press Agency.
The decision was taken within the framework of the implementation of the decision on restoring the rule of law, impartiality, and reliability of the mass media adopted by the Polish Sejm (the lower house of the parliament) a day earlier.
