In a conversation with journalists, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, commented on the issue of the dismissal of the Military Committees of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine by Volodymyr Zelensky. Notably, Zelensky dismissed almost all Ukrainian military commissars simultaneously against the backdrop of the corruption scandal.
The Ukrainian "Strana" periodical quoted Zaluzhny's words: "They were professionals and knew how to mobilize, but they are not there either," he said, answering the question of what effect the release of the regional military commissars had on the military mobilization process."
