Georgia does not conduct secret negotiations with Russia

The Georgian authorities do not conduct secret negotiations with representatives of the Russian leadership. This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, speaking in parliament.

"Regarding our participation in the One Belt, One Road Forum, this initiative will cause many EU countries to join with Georgia. Georgia has physically participated in this forum since its foundation, and Russia has always participated there. Suppose anyone wants to imagine that the authorities of Georgia are somehow harming the interests of the country and conducting some secret dialogue with Russia, as has been wrongly spread to the public. In that case, I can say unequivocally and directly: it is not so," said Davitashvili.
