The ruling party of Azerbaijan nominated Aliyev as a presidential candidate

The ruling party of Azerbaijan, "New Azerbaijan," nominated the current president, Ilham Aliyev, for the position of president of Azerbaijan. The decision was taken at today's extended meeting of the party's collegium.
It should be noted that the extraordinary presidential elections in Azerbaijan were scheduled for February 7, 2024.
