The US is calling on Israel to open the Kerem Shalom crossing as soon as possible to allow humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip, as the Rafah crossing is unable to cope.
Jake Sullivan, the US President's assistant for national security issues, said this in an interview with CNN.
