EU may unfreeze Hungarian funds in return for Ukraine aid approval

Citing a European official, Politico newspaper reported that the European Union may unfreeze more funds for Hungary from European funds in return for Budapest's approval of 50 billion euros in EU aid to Ukraine. 

Earlier, Balazs Orbán, advisor to the Prime Minister of Hungary, stated in an interview with "Bloomberg that the country is ready to remove the veto placed on the proposal to finance Ukraine in the amount of 50 billion euros over four years if the European Union unfreezes the funds intended for Hungary in the European funds.
