When he dies, Pope Francis wants to be buried in Santa Maria Maggiore, one of Rome's four main cathedrals. The Pope announced this in an interview given to the Mexican TV channel N+ on Tuesday.
"The place is ready; I want to be buried in Santa Maria Maggiore. Yes, I always went there because I am very devoted to this place. There is a solid connection," the Pope said. "I have already met with the funeral organizers," he added.
