The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security, Josep Borell, announced at the meeting with the foreign ministers of the EU Eastern Partnership that his first meeting before the conference would be with the foreign minister of Armenia.
Borell, in particular, stated: "I will start the day with a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Armenia before the meeting of Foreign Ministers. There is a difficult situation in the entire Eastern Partnership area: Belarus, Ukraine, and the South Caucasus. It is good news that Georgia is moving forward on the path to EU membership, but the situation in Armenia requires our strong support. Let's see how we can increase it."
