The Turkish Foreign Ministry responded to the statements of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"We welcome the decision to take concrete steps to strengthen trust between the two countries. We support the decision to continue discussions on additional confidence-building steps.
We wish for the early signing of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which will become one of the most critical events in establishing permanent peace and stability in the South Caucasus."
