A deficit was recorded in the energy system of Ukraine against the background of a sharp cold. The country asked for urgent help from neighboring EU countries. reports the state company "Ukrainergo".
"Emergency imports of electricity from Slovakia, Romania and Poland will be used to balance the energy system," the message says.
