James O'Brian, the adviser on European and Eurasian affairs of the US Secretary of State, met yesterday in Baku with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeihun Bayramov, and President Ilham Aliyev.
After the meeting, O'Brien wrote on his X page: "I had positive and constructive meetings in Baku. As I told President Aliyev, the United States welcomes the visits of the Central Bank Governor and the Minister of Energy, and Secretary Blinken looks forward to hosting Foreign Ministers Bayramov and Mirzoyan in Washington for peace talks."
