Japan will provide $4.5 billion in aid to Ukraine

The Japanese government will provide aid to Ukraine for 4.5 billion dollars, either directly or through the World Bank. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida announced this during online negotiations with G7 leaders.

"Kishida announced that Japan has decided to provide additional support for 1 billion dollars for rehabilitation and humanitarian aid. Japan is ready to provide a total of 4.5 billion dollars to Ukraine," the department said.
