The IDF and Shin Bet have reported the killing of high-ranking members of the Northern Gaza Brigade in tunnels. Moreover, most of these leaders were destroyed during the battles.
The Northern Gaza Brigade is the second largest in the Hamas terrorist organization. The tunnels were located near an Indonesian hospital and under civilian houses. The IDF, guided by military intelligence, killed brigade commander Ahmed Ehandor, deputy brigade commander Al Rajab, and other senior members.
