Uncertainty over Western support for Ukraine is growing as Russia's escalating missile strikes cripple the country's energy infrastructure.
The White House has warned the United States Congress that the funds intended to aid Ukraine will run out by the end of the year. The European Union also needs help to agree on 50 billion euros ($54 billion) in new aid for Kyiv.
