Toivo Klaar, the EU's special representative for the crisis in the South Caucasus and Georgia, wrote on his X page:
"The information about the shooting and the victim on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan is worrying. The EU constantly cooperates with Baku and Yerevan. It is important that there is calm and that progress is made at the negotiating table," Klaar wrote.
