The Tasnim agency reports that Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel arrived in Iran for the first time in 22 years. Earlier, Iranian President Raisi visited Cuba after a 12-year break.
This is the first visit by the Cuban leader to Iran since 2001. Diaz-Caneli received the President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi. After the negotiations, the parties plan to sign several agreements and memoranda of cooperation.
