Revenues from arms sales of 42 American companies, which are among the world's top 100 arms producers and sellers, decreased by 7.9% in 2022, reaching 302 billion dollars. They made up 51% of the total revenue of the top 100 weapons. 32 out of 42 US companies reported a decline in production rates. The main reasons for the decline are the underdevelopment of production chains and the absence of supply chains.
