The Israel Defense Forces announced on Sunday that Israel is expanding its ground operations throughout the Gaza Strip. Hagari also emphasized the "importance of air support provided by the Air Force to ground forces," saying that airstrikes on Hamas headquarters, weapons production facilities, tunnels, and rocket launch sites limit threats to a ground operation.
"Our policy is clear. We will forcefully strike any threat to our territory," they said.
