Unprecedented snow in Europe (PHOTOS)

BBC reports that Western European residents are struggling to cope with the heavy snowfall that paralyzed traffic over the weekend.

The air temperature in Britain is below -12 degrees.

During the last few days, most of the territory of Germany has snowed, and the temperature here is also minus. This surprises the residents because there has not been such a cold winter in the last two decades.

On Saturday, transport communication was blocked in Munich, the capital of Bavaria. According to meteorological services, over 40 centimeters of snow fell here from Friday to Saturday night. According to local media, something like this has not happened here since the 30s of the last century.

The Munich airport announced the suspension of work. About 760 flights were delayed or canceled.

Local authorities asked residents to stay at home for their safety.

There is also heavy snow in Russia. More than 40 flights were delayed or canceled at Moscow airports due to snowfall.
