Israeli officials had obtained a document that described Hamas' battle plan for the October 7 terror attack, more than a year before the militants carried out the attack, the New York Times reported on Thursday, citing documents, emails, and interviews.
The nearly 40-page document does not specify the date of the attack but outlines point-by-point the type of incursion that Hamas carried out in Israeli territory in October. Israeli military and intelligence officials denied the plan, estimating that it would be tough for Hamas to implement.
