The press secretary of Turkey's ruling "Justice and Development" party, Omer Celik, announced that the USA has demanded that Turkey stop supporting Azerbaijan to "liberate" Karabakh.
He noted that Washington put forward this demand during the abovementioned period as a condition for sending F-16s to Turkey.
According to Celik, Turkey wants the ongoing discussions between Azerbaijan and Armenia to lead to a peace agreement.
"If Armenia refuses destructive steps, the format of "3+3" cooperation will greatly contribute to establishing peace in the region," he said.
