Israel's prison service has reportedly received a list of 39 Palestinian terror convicts who will be released today as part of a deal with Hamas that will also see 13 hostages released from Gaza. This is the first day of the four-day ceasefire. More such exchanges are expected shortly, and additional days of ceasefire are possible if Hamas agrees to release more hostages.
The Israeli Penitentiary Service has started the process of handing over 39 juvenile and female detainees released earlier. They will be transferred to Ofer prison in the West Bank or East Jerusalem before release.
