Mossad was instructed to act against the leaders of Hamas. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told reporters Wednesday evening, defending a partial hostage deal that would include a four- to nine-day pause in the Gaza war.
"It was a difficult decision, but the right one," Netanyahu said. "I have instructed the Mossad to act against Hamas leaders wherever they are," Netanyahu said, hinting that Israel could target them outside the Gaza Strip, including in Qatar.
