"Azerbaijan has always respected Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity." Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan issued a statement that responded to the statements of US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brian regarding Azerbaijan.
"Even though Azerbaijan is the party that started the peace process based on fundamental principles and the signing of a peace agreement, including border demarcation and boundary, the opening of communication channels, etc., the assistant secretary of state refrained from stating that in the last three years, the efforts made in these directions have been undermined and hindered by Armenia. Unlike Armenia, Azerbaijan has always respected Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, which was confirmed once again during the meeting held in Prague on October 6, 2022", - said the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
