US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping have agreed to establish direct presidential communication, resume military communications, and work to curb fentanyl production. Thus, they have shown tangible progress within a year of the first meeting.
Biden and Xi met for about four hours in San Francisco to discuss issues that have cooled US-China relations, especially the heated approach over Taiwan.
