For the first time in 20 years, the French Minister of Defense will visit Israel

French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecorne, at the request of French President Emmanuel Macron, will visit the Middle East on Tuesday to discuss the situation in Gaza and regional security issues.

"This trip will start in Egypt and continue in the Persian Gulf region. It will end on Friday in Israel. It is the first time since 2000 that the French Minister of Defense has visited this country," he wrote in his X:
