The Israel Defense Forces carried out an airstrike in Syria in response to a drone launched into Israel on Thursday, which hit a school in the Israeli resort town of Eilat.
"The Syrian regime bears full responsibility for any terrorist act carried out from Syrian territory," the Israel Defense Forces said in a statement, vowing to "react strongly to any attempt to harm the territory of the State of Israel."
