On Wednesday night, the US struck a facility used by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iran-backed militias in Syria's eastern Deir Zor region in response to recent repeated missile and drone attacks against US forces in Syria and Iraq.
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced that the strike was carried out by two American F-15 planes and targeted the weapons depot.
