Authorizations for German defense exports to Israel have increased almost tenfold this year compared to last year, and Berlin is treating authorization requests as a priority following the Hamas attack on Israel.
As of Nov. 2, the German government has approved the export of defense equipment worth about 303 million euros ($323 million) to Israel. For comparison, throughout 2022, 32 million euros worth of defense weapons were approved.
