"The words of Amichai Eliyahu, the Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and Israel's Heritage, about the possibility of a nuclear attack on the Gaza Strip, can be considered an admission that the Jewish state has atomic weapons." Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOIC), expressed a similar opinion.
"The representative of the Israeli regime has once again admitted that his country has nuclear weapons, and more importantly, this regime, by threatening the oppressed and innocent people of the Gaza Strip, has disregarded the basic principles of international law and the UN Charter," he said—Eslami in an interview with IRNA.
