The Israel Defense Forces will find and eliminate the leader of the Palestinian Hamas movement, Yahya Sinwar, the Minister of Defense of the Jewish State, Yoav Gallant, announced at a press conference.
"We will reach Sinwar and destroy it; after the war, there will be no more Hamas in Gaza; there will be no threat to Israel's security from the Gaza Strip," he said.
According to Galant, the Israeli army will have complete freedom of action in the Gaza Strip "and will do whatever it wants."
