Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Defense, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Karim Valyev, met with the Chief of the General Staff of the Italian Armed Forces, Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, who is in Baku on Tuesday.
"The need for further expansion of military relations based on strategic partnerships between Azerbaijan and Italy was particularly emphasized at the meeting. The parties discussed, among other issues, the prospects for developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy in the military, military-technical, military-educational, and other fields, as well as several issues of mutual interest.
