The Committee to Protect Journalists reports that 31 journalists have been killed so far in the Israel-Hamas war. 26 of them were killed in Gaza. 4 of the journalists were killed in an attack by Hamas in Israel on October 7.
1 journalist was killed in Lebanon as a result of an alleged Israeli shelling, the target of which was Hezbollah. CPJ says 9 other journalists are missing or detained.
