"Israel will not agree to a ceasefire with Hamas." Netanyahu

Israel will not agree to a ceasefire with Hamas; these calls mean that Israel must yield and will surrender, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.

"I want to clarify Israel's position regarding the ceasefire. Just as the US did not agree to a ceasefire after the bombing of Pearl Harbor or after 9/11, Israel will not agree to cease hostilities against Hamas after the horrific October 7 attack. Calling for a ceasefire means calling for giving in to Hamas, terrorism, and barbarism; this will not happen," Netanyahu said during the briefing.

He added that only the ground operation and the pressure on Hamas would allow us to hope for the release of the hostages.
