Ankara and Washington discussed the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and NATO expansion

Diplomatic sources of the Turkish Foreign Ministry reported that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

The parties discussed the situation surrounding the conflict between Israel and Palestine. The heads of diplomacy of Turkey and the United States reviewed the measures aimed at preventing the spread of the conflict in the region, the steps to ensure the release of hostages, and the urgent creation of a corridor for the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

During the conversation, the Turkish Foreign Minister emphasized the inadmissibility of irregular attacks by the Israeli army on the civilian population of the Palestinian exclave. An exchange of views also took place regarding the NATO expansion process.
