Russia's ambassador to Israel, Anatoli Viktorov, was summoned to the Israeli Foreign Ministry and was handed a note of protest in connection with the visit of the delegation of the radical Palestinian organization Hamas to Moscow, reports the press service of the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
"Ambassador Simone Halperin, Deputy Director General for Eurasian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, explained to the ambassador that Israel is seriously considering Moscow's lack of unambiguous and clear condemnation of the terrorist organization Hamas, as well as Russia's actions in international organizations," the statement said.
