The Israel Defense Forces are expanding their range of ground operations in the Gaza Strip, stated the representative of the Israel Defense Forces, General Daniel Hagari.
"Continuing the offensive operations carried out during the past few days, this evening the army is expanding its ground operations," he said in the briefing.
Hagari added that the troops were ready to defend Israel on all fronts.
As the Fox News channel reports, referring to the reporter, several powerful explosions took place in the Gaza Strip. Artillery is working; tank shelling continues as well. In addition, fighter jets were spotted in the region.
Al Arabiya also reports that communication and internet services have stopped working in the Gaza Strip.
