The camps will be located 3 km from the border with Egypt, and their activities will be controlled from Cairo. Egyptian authorities plan to provide urgent aid to displaced people from the northern Palestinian Gaza Strip, as they strongly oppose sending Gaza refugees to the Sinai Peninsula.
