The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, stated that Russia is similar to Hamas.
"Vladimir Putin wants to erase Ukraine from the face of the earth. Hamas, supported by Iran, wants to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. Russia and Hamas are similar, and, as President Zelensky said, "the essence is the same," Leyen said.
