Biden asks Congress for help for Israel, comparing Hamas to Putin

US President Joe Biden addressed the American people early Friday morning, presenting the US position on the Israeli-Palestinian and Russian-Ukrainian wars.

“I know these conflicts can go far, and it's natural to ask why this is important to America. So let me share with you why I am confident that Israel and Ukraine will succeed," Biden said. "History has taught us that when terrorists don't pay a price for their terrorism, when dictators don't pay a price for their aggression, they bring more chaos, death and destruction. They keep going. So if we don't curb Putin's appetite in Ukraine, he won't be limited to Ukraine. Putin has already threatened to remind Poland that their western part is a "gift" from Russia.
